Looking for that new job

I have been where I am currently working for about 3 years and it is not going anywhere. It is the insurance industry and insurance does not interest me so I figure I shall pike while I am still young. I am starting to apply for some jobs now that our home loan is being drawn up, I know what you are thinking but if not now then there will never be a good chance to leave...will there?

Eat, Drink & Be Married!: Black & White Wedding Theme

Eat, Drink & Be Married!: Black & White Wedding Theme

Some examples of what i want in my wedding. Im not sure but i think i might like the Oreo Cookie Cake idea. But I would think it to be more Chocolate coloured than black...but wow!! and i am sure to use the black nail idea.

365 days to go

Ok, its done. Venue is booked and the countdown begins! It's 22/11/2010 and it has just dawned on me (ok i admit I have been thinking about it all weekend) 22/11/2011 is only 365 days to go.

I was at Glengariff Winery yesterday and fell in love. I knew I was keen on this ceremony and reception venue but once I drove out there (alone I might add) and took in the scenery, I knew that there was no way I was going anywhere else! It was so peaceful and picturesque and Tracey was so lovely!

I spent all day at work making up yet another guest list. It's so hard to decide who HAS to be there and who we probably should invite. It's going to be small, we know that one for sure, and it's going to have to be slightly budget... For those who are following our non adventures with the house will know that we are crazy and building our first home whilst I'm planning the wedding. No we aren't made of money but I need something to do so that the stress of the house NOT being ready doesn't get the better of me...

I believe I have picked my colours for the wedding (it's amazing the time you have on a bus trip to think) and they be Black, White and Silver/Grey. I spent all last night on the net looking up flowers and bouquets and how to make bouquets using silk flowers. I believe since I do have so long to organize and plan this wedding, I can make it DIY and let my creative flair take over. I also looked up suit ideas and suit colours. I don't know how we do this matchy matchy thing. Who is supposed to match and how different can the groom be to his groomsmen?

There is also the cake we have to organize and the rings and my dress, bridesmaids dresses and all that jazz. But it's still a long way off so I can think about all this in a few months time.

I hate to love and leave but...time for sleeps
